Funding & Financing the Project

We are currently seeking financing and resources to help redevelop our community hall facilities.

We have some funds already raised locally, local individuals have promised time and skills, our Funding Group has already identified some sponsorship, and we have received grants from Awards for All for audiovisual equipment, from Pro Help for legal work defining the boundaries and right of way of the site, and from the Big Lottery Fund for a total of £500,000 towards the redevelopment.  There is still matched funding to raise.  Commitments from Longcliffe Quarries, Tarmac and Bennett's have been received, coming to around half our target.

However there is still more to do.  Project Parwich was launched on 7th May, and will run for a year.  We need more local commitments of help, and to gain more sponsorship/grants.  For what you can do click here:

The Journey So Far

With the BLF grant we are now over three quarters of the way to obtaining the funding, so now we must push to get the rest in place.
